Dr. Thomas Huber has been Ministerial Dirigent at the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care since April 2018. The lawyer heads the department “Coordination, Digitalization, Innovation, State Examination Office for Social Security”, where responsibilities for digital health and care are largely combined. In addition, there are cross-sectoral care and the health and care industry as a sector of the future with great potential for innovation and employment. Prior to that, Dr. Huber worked for a long time in many positions in the area of responsibility of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior and most recently in the Bavarian State Chancellery as Deputy Head of the Department for Policy Issues, Planning and Communication.
